Tom Majcher has more than 25 years of experience in exit planning and execution.  He works with business owners and family businesses to plan and execute business successions, business transitions and sales to third parties.  He has personally experienced and managed the challenges that face business owners and families as a seasoned executive, business owner and trusted advisor.

As a senior executive for a large family-owned company Tom learned first hand the importance of an exit plan .  The 100-year old company faced generation transition issues that were resolved only after creation of a comprehensive exit plan and its subsequent implementation.

Tom has started and successfully exited three companies.  In each instance there was an exit plan in place that was key to attracting capital and achieving liquidity events.  During this time he continued to advise many family-owned and private companies on exit strategies and mergers & acquisitions.

Earlier in his career Tom was an executive with two Fortune 50 companies where he gained broad domestic and international experience in finance, planning, marketing, operations and mergers & acquisitions.  He has BS and MS degrees from Penn State University.  Tom is a member of the Business Enterprise Institute network of professional Exit Plan Advisors and is on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth.  He is an avid golfer and coaches the Franklin County High School Lady Flyers golf team.
